My vet recently told me that my cat has a condition called Hyperkeratosis Syndrome. The pads on all four paws are extremely dry, cracked, and peeling off. What is this and where can I learn additional information on this condition? It has affected my cat's desire to play and he seems to be in pain as he walks. He is only two years old.
